So here we are, New Years Day, new beginnings and new experiences, a year filled yet again with some amazing games to come. But for now we look back for one last time at the year that was and give to you our picks for GOTY 2011. We hope you enjoy reading our extended reasoning behind each pick and keep coming back to PSTB throughout the year for all your entertainment needs and reviews.

GOTY 2011 (Top 5’s)
As we continue to wind down the year we have also brought our GOTY nominees down to just 5 games each. It was a tough decision to cut any games from our original lists because of the breadth of quality we had this year. We have provided each pick with short reasons behind our choice to give a little bit more insight.
We here at PSTB hope you enjoy our top 5 lists as you ring in the new year. Be merry, do stuff, and play some games! We are happy to have PSTB back in full effect and will continue our coverage of entertainment throughout next year.

GOTY 2011 (Nominees)
What a great year it was for games in 2011, we had one of the most crowded holiday seasons in recent memory with games like Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Assassins Creed Rev, Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, it was madness. So now that Christmas has come and gone we are offering our own look back on the year that was.
We will be posting our coverage over the next couple days with the final GOTY winner coming on New Years Day. Tonight we are offering the nominees for each editor, this list will then be brought down to a top 5 in the next day then as I mentioned, a final GOTY.

GOTY Awards 2010 (Finals)
After much deliberation over the many great games this year it all comes down to just one. A game that rises above the rest and provides an experience unlike any other this year. After looking over our top 5 lists, each of us picked a final GOTY along with a description of our thoughts behind choosing it.

Its that time of year again for video games, when deliberations begin and heated battles rage over Game of the Year. these times are always the most exciting of the year, looking back at the greatness of a year in gaming, a chance to look back at games that may have been forgotten and can now be given their appreciation. For now we have had all of our editors write up a top 5 list of 2010 and later this month we will have individual GOTY’s from each one. Stay tuned for all of our coverage!
